Rio Grande Valley College programs of study are approved and regulated by the Texas Workforce Commission, Career Schools and Colleges, Austin, Texas, as well as the Texas Board of Nursing, the Texas Health and Human Services regulatory division of Nurse Aide Training (NATCEP); Texas Department of State Health Service and Texas Veterans Commission.

Rio Grande Valley College is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Rio Grande Valley College is approved by the US Department of Education and is eligible to participate in the Federal Student Aid Programs.

Rio Grande Valley College has a Certificate of Authorization to operate degree programs from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Authority for this exemption is based on the institution’s accreditation with ABHES.

Students must address their concerns about this school or any of its educational programs by following the grievance process outlined in the school’s catalog.

A copy of the school catalog is given to all students during the enrollment process. Documentation confirming that all students received a copy of the school catalog, which includes the grievance procedures, is located in the student file. If, as a student, you were not provided with this information, please inform school management.
