Medical Assistants work alongside physicians, mainly in outpatient or ambulatory care facilities, such as medical offices and clinics.
Medical Assistants are cross-trained to perform administrative and clinical duties such as taking medical histories, preparing patients for examinations as well as assisting the physician during examinations, perform laboratory tests, and many more duties.

LEARN THE FOLLOWING MEDICAL ASSISTANT SKILLS:
Medical Assistants are responsible for a vast amount of administrative and clinical duties and work alongside the physician, hospital affiliated clinics, outpatient clinics, private and government-run health centers and much more. Medical Assistants also assist in maintaining and organizing the clinic or other healthcare setting making sure it is efficiently running.
Graduates of this program may pursue certification by passing national measures and proficiency examination with the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
