PROGRAM SUMMARY FOR PHARMACY TECHNICIAN STUDENTS:

The Pharmacy Technician Program offers students an opportunity to become introduced to and learn the fundamental skills needed to become a competent and knowledgeable Pharmacy Technician.
Pharmacy Technicians are employed in retail pharmacy chains and community (hospital) pharmacies. They work under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist in home healthcare, nursing homes, and pediatric offices. Pharmacy hours vary and the student will often be employed during the day, evening, or weekend.
